Hey, I’m Joshua Smith—founder and maker behind Shepherd & Hide. I stumbled into leatherwork by chance, but quickly fell in love with the craft. There's something powerful about taking scraps of raw material and turning them into functional works of art. Every piece I make is entirely hand-stitched—no machines, no shortcuts—and made to order right here in East Tennessee.I’m passionate about creating high-quality, one-of-a-kind items that reflect each customer’s style and purpose. Whether it’s a radio strap for a firefighter, a custom wallet, or a gift with deep personal meaning, I put my heart into every detail.
